put in some metrics so I can track how regularly I am doing my readings
(Edited) The idea is so you can track which chapters have been read/listened too and ones that not been. I would suggest it would be helpful to busy people who don't always get the chance to complete their daily readings on the correct day. When the busy person has time they can go back to the chapters (even days?) that they had missed.

Tick box.
To ceate a simple tick box that allows those of us with lesser memories to keep in check the chapters we have already read. Once done with reading the chapter, the user simply ticks the box (which would be most likely be placed next to the chapters names) so that they know that the ticked chapter has already been read.

Different versions
Is there a way to change the version of the Bible we read???? If so how??? If not maybe just an idea to give that option

Let us begin reading from the beginning, ie, Gen, on any date chosen, instead of simply joining the whole world where they are.
We all don't have to begin reading from January. Any begin date set should take one back to the beginning. This can also serve as a reset after completing reading the whole Bible. Thanx.

Have it asked as a music player so you can easily listen to the readings for the day.

Can't you work with christian websites, so we can have more coment about daily scriptures?
You can for example take coment from christnotes.org. Read scriptures with coment is useful

how about a morning bible readings alarm - allowing us to wake up to the bible being read to us.
You could have the three readings read each morning as an alarm.

Probably not that easy but could we have a link to a concordance like strongs or tsk. Maybe a dictionary like isbe. Maybe just king James concordance and dictionary. Probably asking a bit much now. Awesome app by the way.

make a comment section / personal Bible study.
You could make a section for personal thoughts or questions for today's reading. And/or links to different Christian websites, so we learn more.
